A Great Night for Young Musicians Foundation

On April 9th 2009, PWCI hosted "Building Schools With Music," at The Westin, in Pasadena. The goal was to raise $75,000 for Young Musicians Foundation. However, the outcome was far beyond that. Building Schools with Music raised more than $140,000 thanks to generous donations from several contractors and other businesses. One in particular, also the "Event Underwriter," Action Electric, donated $20,000 to YMF. Special thanks also goes out to B.S. Hand & Sons and Church & Larsen, who were diamond sponsors of $10,000.
The evening was highlighted with performances by Sonny’s daughter, dedicated harpist of the YMF Debut Orchestra Jacque Marshall, actress/signer Lainie Kazan, and comedian Norm Crosby. Sonny quotes, "You did an amazing thing tonight, everyone. You’ve made a difference in the lives of our youth in so many ways."
