The Edison High School Phase 2 Modernization Project was located in Huntington Beach, CA. This $12 million dollar project was 5 phases spanning over 18 months, consisting of a demolition and remodel for building 200, 400, the Administration Building and the girls locker room. Construction involved demolition and remodel of all interior walls, finishes, utilities, and plumbing. New electrical, HVAC, plumbing, wall finishes, doors, ceilings, casework, flooring, and finishes were installed on the interior of the buildings, as well as new ADA accessible showers in the girls locker rooms and new ceramic tile in all bathrooms. All perimeter fencing was replaced with new ornamental iron fencing, as well as complete replacement of the central quad concrete. All buildings received new building paint, roofing, storefront, and glazing. The gymnasium floor was also replaced with a new floating wood floor and 3 new basketball courts. PWCI worked will with the staff and students throughout the whole process of construction.
